Lauren Scott has been working in paediatric speech pathology since 2001.  Over this time she has worked for Queensland Health, Education Queensland and in Private Practice.  Special interests include using sign and alternative / augmentative communication (ACC) to promote language development in babies and young children as well as children with disabilities.  Lauren has worked in Special Education settings with children who have a range of skills and abilities with diagnoses including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Impairment, Speech-Language Impairment, Central Auditory Processing Disorder.

Lauren empowers parents to interact with their children in ways which promote speech and language development. She is trained in the following specific therapy techniques (see below).  If you would like more information on these therapy programs please click on the corresponding logo.  Some of these programs offer parent workshops and training which are a very productive adjunct to direct therapy.
